SR49 RTSM-P demonstrated at the MILCOM 2026 DIFI Workshop

Spectral Rail attended the DIFI Consortium's workshop at IEEE MILCOM 2026 on Monday, October 12, in North Bethesda, Maryland, with a live demonstration and a poster.

The demonstration showed off our SR49 Real-time Stream Monitor prototype (RTSM-P) as it received streams over 100 GbE generated by our DIFI traffic generator configured to send eight DVB-S2 carrier streams and their composite. Visitors saw the spectrum of each component stream, zoomed into the composite, and watched the event monitor respond as carrier parameters were adjusted.

Our poster , Does One Bad Packet Spoil the Whole Stream? DIFI Stream Impairments and Real-Time Stream Monitoring, surveys packet-level impairments on DIFI streams and how far each one reaches on single-carrier and composite streams.

Thank you to the DIFI Consortium and to everyone who stopped by. Questions about the RTSM-P or your DIFI deployment: info@spectralrail.com.
